Ready for Change?

We all deal with change differently and for some change can be so daunting. Getting people to see the need for change then taking systematic action is key to success and the book "Our Iceberg is Melting" is a highly effective way of doing just this. Light-hearted, simple and almost child-like in it's presentation this book goes along way in introducing the concepts of change and is a great starting place for individuals or teams unsure how to make their change journey a success.

Are You Living Your Life in a Box?

A few weeks ago I was in London heading for Euston station when I
saw someone huddled in a doorway with a collection of boxes for a
shelter. People scurried by desperately hoping not to make eye contact
and it struck me that the homeless man was not the only one in a box.
Each of the passers-by was in a box also, a mental one. A box which
separated them, their values, prejudices and beliefs for everyone else
and I was reminded of a book, "Leadership and self deception: Getting
out of the box", which was recommended to me by a client. It's a
simple yet profound book and despite it's title is relevant to all
aspect and walks of life. If you find yourself in conflict with someone or communication and effective
relationships are important to you then this is a must-read.I wonder, will you dare to step out of your box?
